stART Network
The stART Network provides an opportunity for groups and individuals who contribute to the creative life in South Cambridgeshire to meet and talk with other like-minded people.
stART Network events are a fun and informal way of finding out about creative opportunities, activities, resources, knowledge and skills which exist in our district. You don’t have to be based in the area but just contibute to the creativity here.
Events are free and open to all. Our next stART network meeting will be on Tuesday 7 February, 6pm – 8pm at ImpingtonVillage College. We will be partnering with [act] – Arts in Cambs on Tour, who will launch their spring programme and letting us know about opportunities to become a local promoter. As well as this there will be opportunities to meet other community arts organisations from across the district and chat with other like-minded people.
6pm: Drinks and networking
An opportunity to talk and network with other community organisations, volunteers and arts groups from around Cambridgeshire.
6.30 – 7.15pm: [act] – Arts in Cambs on Tour
Audrey Hewerdine will share information about the new Spring 2012 programme, as well as offering advice and support for new and existing promoters in the villages. [act] is the scheme which tours professional performances into rural Cambridgeshire, offering high quality entertainment to local communities at a subsidised rate.
7.15 – 8.00pm: Ideas exchange
An open forum session offering you the opportunity to work in small groups to discuss specific projects, to talk about issues that you face, and to consider future opportunities.
The evening is free and open to anyone to attend. Plenty of free parking. RSVP to Amy Wormald, Arts Development Manager for the Cottenham and Impington area on 01954 288748 or amy@start-arts.org.uk
